HYROX training is coming soon to The Corpus Christi Athletic Club, giving Corpus Christi athletes a new way to combine running, strength, conditioning, and functional fitness in one challenging training experience. Stay tuned for program details and launch information.

What Is HYROX?

HYROX is a fitness race that combines endurance running with functional strength and conditioning, challenging athletes to complete eight 1-kilometer runs, each followed by a functional workout station. Throughout the race, competitors take on movements such as sled pushes and pulls, rowing, SkiErg training, carries, lunges, burpee broad jumps, and wall balls, testing cardiovascular endurance, strength, power, and muscular stamina. Because HYROX rewards well-rounded fitness rather than specialization in just one area, the training can benefit both athletes preparing for a race and anyone looking for a structured, challenging way to improve their overall conditioning.
