Corpus Christi Athletic Club Gymnastics is currently looking for enthusiastic, and reliable instructors who want to work with and teach gymnast, from early walkers to adults, in a positive and fun atmosphere! We currently have opportunities to work with kids of various ages and skill levels in our recreational gymnastics, team gymnastics, pre-school, tumbling, and cheerleading programs.

Day camp activities include gymnastics instruction as well as facilitating games, races, obstacle courses and fun activities for the students.

CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER
Selling personal training and providing service to members. You are an employee of the Corpus Christi Athletic Club. The members you train are clients of the club. Personal training is a service you provide to members. All new employees will be hired on as a level I trainer for a period of no less than 30 days unless otherwise approved by management. Every employee will be evaluated after 90 days of hire to determine future status. QUALIFICATIONS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Provide copies of up-to-date certifications and CEU’s to the director as needed.
•Market and sell personal training to members and prospective clients.
•Provide exercise prescription to individuals and groups, following the guidelines for safety and exercise as outlined by the American College of Sports Medicine.
•Prospect and schedule In-Body Assessments, 1st and 2nd workouts and reassessments.
•Meet and maintain requirements for your current level of training.
•Keep up to date on industry standards and certifications.
•Keep your scheduled appointments with your clients. If you cannot make an appointment, you must notify your client and call the Team Leader.
•If you are more than 5 minutes late without notice, management reserves the right to assign your client to another trainer for that session (upon request of the client).
•Provide a written or Xerox copy of your personal training schedule as directed. All training’s are to be documented.
•Improve your closing ratio in relation to In-Body’s and 1st and 2nd workouts.
•Be accountable for scheduled time on the book.
•Notify the Fitness Team Leader or Head Trainer in advance if you need to make changes to your assigned schedule, or if you are going to be late.
•Attend all departmental and all club meetings.
•Perform floor duties as scheduled.
-Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification from approved certifying agencies (ACE, ACSM, AFAA, Cooper, ISSA, NASM, NSCA or approved by director). A current Adult CPR and First Aid certifications are also required.
-Preferred - Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field including Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or Fitness Management.

The Corpus Christi Athletic Club is looking to hire a full time Accountant to join our team. The Accountant, under the direction of the Chief Accountant, is responsible for maintaining generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) in order to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The accountant will have many accounting duties that include, but are not limited to: general ledger preparation, payroll and audit of payroll, financial/accrual reporting, and distribution of financial statements. The position is responsible for helping the Billing department, Accounts Payable, HR/Payroll Coordinator, and Accounting assistant with decision making and guidance.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Create daily financial reports
•Update Accounts Receivable (AR) balances
•Verify AR matches the general ledger

The Corpus Christi Athletic Club is hiring for a Pilates Reformers Instructor to teach evening classes. Instructor must be able to teach safe and effective Pilates Reformer classes with the ability to offer modifications for all fitness levels. There are no mandatory hours; however, it is recommended that you are present 10 to 15 minutes prior to class to address any issues that may affect the experience of the members.
•Must hold a current Pilates Reformer certification.
•Must be able to each evening classes.
•Must have “people skills” to encourage member participation.
•Must be self-motivated to continue to learn exercises and skills required to teach an effective class.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Recognize members with special needs.
•Be comfortable with Balance Body reformers, towers and chairs.
•Be responsible for communication with classes and private clients.
•Instructor will be present 10-15 minutes prior to class.
•Instructor will end class 5 min prior to the following class.
•Teach according to Pilates Reformer guidelines.

•Clean and lock up studio after each class.

FRONT DESK/MEMBER SERVICES STAFF
·Must attend monthly staff meetings & all club-wide customer service trainings.
·Greet members and guest promptly, enthusiastically, preferably by name, and with a smile to create a friendly positive entrance into the club.
·Handles member/guest complaints with sincerity and solves problem(s) to the degree necessary.
·Quickly and promptly coordinates requests for account updates with the membership and billing departments by guiding them to a representative to assist them, or taking their information and following through to get it to someone who can.
·Provides security and control to the front door area of the facility. Maintains and supervises access to Front Desk lost & found items, cash register, Oops Cards box, locker key rentals, and Walkie Talkies.
